Farewell Tilly

Today we said Farewell to Tilly, our classmate.

She is heading off on a road trip adventure, travelling from Western Australia to Queensland.

We wish her and her family well, and we hope to hear all about her road trip adventure and new home in Queensland.

140 Years Ago Today

One Hundred and Forty years ago today was when the first Cricket test was played between Australia and England.

The name Test stems from the long, grueling match being a "test" of the relative strengths of the two sides. The first officially recognised Test match began on 15 March 1877 and ended on 19 March 1877 and was played between England and Australia at the Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG), where Australia won by 45 runs.

Tom Price Primary School Song

Tom Price Primary School Song
We’ve come to Tom Price

from parts far and wide.

Together we’ll wear

the red and blue with pride.
“Forever Forward” our school step treads
as united in purpose, our spirits wed.

At Tom Price Primary we each have the right,
to learn at school without having to fight.
The right to an environment healthy and clean,
the right to respect and equality.
The parents and teachers have the right to expect,
“acceptable behaviour” growing one year to next.
This leads us now to say to one and all,
stand up and cheer as we make our call

Tom Price Primary School - we do our best,
we’re higher than all the rest.
When people ask “where do you come from?”
we just turn around and sing them our song.
