Room Two's Facial Experience

The UP4IT Team came back to Tom Price Primary School last Friday. Room 2 was lucky to learn how to give facial massages to the other students.  

We learnt to look after our skin in different ways, and how to keep it healthy and clean.  It was fun and we hope our tutor Michelle comes back next year to give us more awesome facts and tips.

If you eat...

Sour Gummy Worms

Before today I thought that sour gummy worms were the best lollies ever, until today I found out that the gelatin is made of pig parts!

Sour gummy worms are made with, corn syrup, sugar, citric acid and lactic acid. Horrifically the gelatin is made from pig skin!

They taste so super delicious! When they touch your tongue you can just feel the sourness in your mouth and it’s amazing!

It looks like a small thick strip with two colours and sugary powder on top.

If you eat sour gummy worms for a whole week you will be the unhealthiest person in the world. You would get really sick because it has no nutrients. Your teeth would rot because of the high sugar levels. You would get really super fat because of all the sugar.

Pizza

Pizza


Pizza is a bread-like dough that is used as a base that gets topped with foods. Some people top pizza with ham, pineapple, mushroom, bacon and cheese. Pizza also has a delicious tomato paste. Pizza tastes cheesy and tomatoey, it looks delicious, its cheesy and is crunchy.

With pizza you can go two different ways. The good and healthy way or the not so good and not so healthy way. For the healthy way you can get some vitamins and nutrients where as the not healthy  way you might not get as much vitamins and nutrients.so if some one was to only eat pizza for a week they [depending on which way you choose] probably would get an okay amount of nutrients depending on what you top your pizza with.

Chocolate

Chocolate is made of milk. 
It tastes like milk.
Its dark brown is chocolate.
 It is circle has stripes.
Inside the chocolate has brown.
It is yummy.
It has calcium because it has milk.
Chocolate is not healthy.
The chocolate is yummy but it is not good for your teeth because of all the sugar.
If you ate chocolate for a week you would not be healthy.

I love...

The food

I love lasagna so much. The lasagna is one of my favourite food. Sweet and so much of the lasagna is so good. It is a little bit healthy and very delicious. Lasagna has chunky brow mince, a thick sauce and melted cheese. Lasagna is the best when it is hot.
                                                                         

If someone had lasagna of a week what would happen do you think really lasagna has meat in it so it can make you strong and healthy. The cheese keeps your body of bones strong.

Fried rice



Fried rice is made of rice and bacon and peas and carrots it is fried up with butter or oil. It also has soy sauce and eggs. Fried rice has capsicum, prawns and chilli. Sometimes fried rice has crab meat and lemon it.

Fried rice tastes sweet and yummy for your tummy. It is healthy and it will make you feel full.

If someone ate fried rice for a week it will be a good life for that person. Rice has vegetables and rice and not too much sugar so it is quite healthy to eat for a week.it has good vitamins and foods that give you energy in it.
